In order to be a successful Guide, there is third party software available for download to facilitate your work with ChaCha. I have compiled a list of software that I personally use and approve.
Mozilla Firefox Add-Ons
1. ChaCha Expediter Helper - This is a must for all Guides, especially Expediters. The ChaCha Expediter Helper helps Expediters with trivial tasks like capitalization, punctuation, word substitutions, etc.
2. FasterFox - This is great for all Guides and speeds up loading time of pages-a great add-on!
3. Tweak Network - Tweak Network will speed up the loading of web pages and increase the maximum number of simultaneous downloads from a site.
4. Decaps - Decaps lets you change text, in a text area, to: lowercase, uppercase, a title(cap first letter of every word in selection), or a paragraph start(cap first letter of selection). Right click selected the text in text area. Decaps will appear in the context menu.
5. Adblock Plus - Adblock Plus allows you to regain control of the internet and view the web the way you want to. The add-on is supported by over forty filter subscriptions in dozens of languages which automatically configure it for purposes ranging from removing online advertising to blocking all known malware domains. Adblock Plus also allows you to customize your filters with the assistance of a variety of useful features, including a context option for images, a block tab for Flash and Java objects, and a list of blockable items to remove scripts and stylesheets.
6. FoxReplace - This lets you replace text in Web pages. You can define a substitution list and apply it automatically or at your own discretion, or make individual substitutions. This comes in very handy when correcting common misspellings and mistakes.
7. TimeTracker - This add-on is essential for monitoring your hours of work at ChaCha. It shows how much and how long you use FireFox.
